Appalachian Behavioral HealthCare (ABHC) a DBA of Pollen8 provides behavioral health services to the women in our treatment facility.  We provide an innovative approach to recovery and hope to become leaders in the opportunity of long-term sobriety.  Our goal is the reintegration of women in recovery back into society.  We do so through economic development, agriculture, education, employment training, and basic life skills.  

Case Managers for ABHC handle the day to day functions of residents.  Case Managers assist in developing and executing person-centered treatment plans including but not limited to assuring clients are completing their to-do lists toward their treatment plan and goals.  Case Managers instruct, assign tasks and ensure client participation and completion of all Basic Life Skills curriculums.  Case Managers will help navigate and teach time management leading to self-efficacy as it pertains to schedules, appointments and deadlines such as taxes or assignments if the program participant is enrolled in school.    Case Managers will be the point of contact for all other ABHC staff to report updates/infractions in workplace, home life and volunteer services.  Case Managers will ensure each participant in their case load have completed all assignments, and job training modules to determine eligibility for program completion.

Employment Outreach Coordinators (EOC)  for ABHC assist in handling the day to day functions of residents.  He/She will ensure WRAP plans are followed and developed.  The EOC will carry half the case load as it pertains to providing Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) services in recovery, ensuring participants are working with their sponsors, AA/NA attendance is being met and to provide other guidance as necessary.  The EOC will additionally be the point of contact with the Managers for the Social Enterprises to ensure open lines of communication during job training as it relates to skills development, behavioral and policy adherence for ReIntegr8 participants.  The EOC will develop additional relationships with local businesses and recruit owners to become certified as a Community Hiring Partner. EOC will facilitate the training for the CHP and will coordinate job openings available.

Therapist

Therapists for ABHC handle Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and past traumas of program participants.  Therapists assist in developing and executing person-centered treatment plans including but not limited to assuring clients are developing healthy coping skills and addressing Adverse Childhood Experiences during sessions.  Therapists will follow a guideline to treatment as outlined to develop skills as they relate to a 12-step program curriculum.  Therapists will complete Bio-Pyscho-Social assessments as needed in correlation with the ASAM level of care per client.   Therapists will address past experiences of the client in three areas of life: social, legal, and financial.

The Intake Coordinator for ABHC manages the waiting list and onboarding for the new residents.  The Intake Coordinator will ensure that each potential participant satisfies the requirements for treatment.  The Intake Coordinator will develop relationships with our local partners/detoxes and frequent their locations to begin to build relationships with the participants prior to admission to ReIntegr8.  They will also be responsible for the initial full orientation and build of the patient file to ensure all documentation and information regarding the participant is gathered.  He/She may also be charged with volunteer recruitment, outing scheduling/planning and other miscellaneous tasks assigned. The Intake Coordinator will additionally ensure data tracking is completed timely, participate in weekly/monthly staff meetings and maintain policies and procedures adherence.
