In the heart of downtown South Charleston, remains a Criel Mound.  A century’s old gathering place for community activities and where the City of South Charleston still hosts events such as an Arts and Crafts fair and Summerfest, a town festival. 

 

Pollen8 has teamed up with the City of South Charleston to create Market @ the Mount, the first market of this kind in Charleston scheduled to open in the summer of 2020.  We will be working along with local area businesses to create an “open-air market” for community members. 

 

Starting this year, the market will run every Saturday, 8am - 1pm, June through Oct. 2020.  The grand opening is scheduled for June 20th, West Virginia DAY with live music by The Fort Hillbillies.

Market @ the Mound is a 100% producer-only market.  Every Saturday morning you will find fresh produce, locally farmed meats, eggs, artisan breads, cut flowers, handcrafted jewelry, original art, unique crafts, locally roasted coffee, honey, hand-woven willow wares, apothecary products, herbal tinctures and therapeutic oils.  In addition to a carefully selected group of professional vendors, there will be a Kids Corner and live music.
